Job summary

Hirehub Management Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced Procurement / Sourcing Executive to manage purchasing for sheet metal materials, standard components, and machining parts. The role emphasizes supplier development, BOM accuracy, and cost reduction to support production needs.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or higher in purchasing or related field with at least 3 years in purchasing/sourcing, preferably in sheet metal or machining environments, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or sourcing.
• Minimum 3 years in sheet metal or machining industries.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement for materials, parts, and components.
• Source sheet metal materials, standard components, and machining parts.
• Ensure timely orders and adequate inventories to meet production.
• Maintain BOM accuracy, lead times, and pricing in the system.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to meet company needs.
• Register and assess suppliers and contractors per policies.
• Conduct supplier visits to monitor performance and contracts.
• Monitor cost, delivery, and performance of major subcontractors.
• Drive cost reduction and lead-time improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports for Management.
• Maintain SOPs, procedures, and job descriptions.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PROCUREMENT / SOURCING EXECUTIVE to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing and sourcing activities, particularly for sheet metal materials, standard components, machining parts, and subcontracting services.This role is ideal for someone with strong purchasing experience and a good understanding of manufacturing, technical, and engineering requirements.

Job Description

• Plan and execute procurement activities for materials, parts, components, and related items.
• Source sheet metal materials, standard components, and machining parts.
• Ensure materials are ordered on time and available to meet production requirements while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Maintain and verify BOM accuracy, material lead times, and pricing in the system.
• Identify and develop new suppliers to meet company requirements.
• Ensure suppliers and contractors are properly registered and assessed according to company policies.
• Conduct supplier visits when required to monitor performance and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Monitor the cost, delivery schedule, and performance of major subcontractors.
• Drive cost reduction and lead-time improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports and provide updates to Management.
• Maintain and update department SOPs, procedures, and job descriptions.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing / sourcing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the sheet metal or machining industry.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge of technical and engineering requirements.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers.

Salary Range: Up toRM6k; if senior level can be amend higher
