Job summary

Evonik Malaysia is seeking a data analytics professional to consolidate, transform and analyze process and business data, and to develop meaningful data analyses and key figures in close coordination with internal teams. You will implement process apps and provide clear visualizations for stakeholders.

The role involves driving data literacy and digitization initiatives, delivering training, and ensuring user-friendly data access to support decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree completed in a relevant field.
• Insights in visual analytics or related areas.
• Strong interest in data analysis and data literacy.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation, transformation, and analysis of process and business data.
• Development and implementation of meaningful process apps, data analyses and key figures.
• Development of data analysis requirements in coordination with internal procurement and management, considering the operational environment and processes.
• Provide data in a visually appealing, easy-to-understand and easy-to-use form.
• Conduct training and consulting on data literacy and digitization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consolidation, transformation, and analysis of process and business data
• Development and implementation of meaningful process apps, data analyses and key figures
• Development of the requirements for data analyses and key figures in close coordination with internal procurement colleagues and management, considering the operational environment and processes to ensure long-term successful implementation
• Providing the data in a visually appealing, easy-to-understand and easy-to-use form
• Conducting training and consulting on data literacy and digitization

REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed relevant master's degree
• Insights in visual analytics
• Strong interest in data analysis
• Experience with relevant data analysis software (e.g. Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud) and vibe coding
• Know-how in terms of digital transformation
• Very good knowledge of English
• Quick comprehension and conceptual thinking, independent work, commitment and initiative
