Job summary

Celestica in Malaysia (Kulim, Kedah) is seeking a Buyer to support procurement for electronics manufacturing. The role reports to SCM/Analyst level and focuses on sourcing, supplier liaison, and timely delivery.

You will manage requisitions, review bids, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and drive cost reductions and inventory accuracy while adhering to ISO and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Ability to evaluate bids and manage contracts.
• Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills.
• Experience in inventory management and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Procures goods and services to support business operations.
• Acts as liaison between internal customers, suppliers and external customers.
• Reviews requisitions, contacts vendors, and initiates contracts.
• Coordinates and manages last time buys and on-time delivery.
• Drives cost reductions and improves inventory accuracy.
