Job summary

Celestica is seeking a procurement professional to support its design and manufacturing operations in Penang, Malaysia. The role focuses on procuring parts and services, engaging suppliers, and managing contracts to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. The position emphasizes strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills within a global team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Procures goods and services in support of business operations.
Acts as the communication link between internal customers, suppliers and external customers on ramp up and production.
Reviews requisitions, contacts vendors, examines bids and initiates contracts.
Responsible for procurement of parts and supplies for products and non-production needs.
Initiates purchases driven through MRP process.
Coordinates and manages last time buys and ensures on-time delivery.
Tracks forecast accuracy and reports back to personnel.
Ensures audit readiness and coordinates ISO reviews.
