Job summary

Plexus Malaysia is seeking a qualified associate to contribute to the efficient and high-quality production of Plexus products. The role emphasizes following strict quality and safety standards and collaborating to optimize processes.

The position focuses on applying manufacturing processes, equipment understanding, and process improvement to support production line operators and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes manufacturing solutions to meet customer requirements with technical specialization in-discipline.
• Uses tools to create, analyze, and verify documentation, programs, models, or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates understanding of how Plexus Manufacturing processes and product specifications apply to their role.
• Supports direct production line operators and works independently in line with good manufacturing practices.
• Maintains understanding of equipment, process control, safety, risk awareness, and operation relevant to their role.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions / Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Comprehensive Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.
