Job summary

Ams Osram in Penang seeks an experienced engineer to lead technical improvement projects and support the introduction of new products in manufacturing. You will coordinate efforts to ensure process quality, cost efficiency, and readiness for mass production.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and possess at least 4 years of experience in both manufacturing and engineering roles, particularly with LED assembly processes. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, while Mandarin is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years working experience in manufacturing and engineering.
• Knowledge of LED assembly processes and tools design.
• Ability to perform training needs analysis for Technicians/Operators.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate technical improvement projects.
