Job summary

Halton Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to boost manufacturing efficiency, quality, and productivity along our Industry 4.0 journey.

You will lead Lean Six Sigma and PDCA initiatives, analyse processes, implement optimisation strategies, and work with Engineering, R&D, Digitalisation and Operations to deliver SOPs and KPI reports. Familiarity with SolidWorks or AutoCAD and Yellow Belt certification are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechatronics preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and project management abilities

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
• Develop and implement process optimisation strategies across manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Digitalisation, and Operations teams on process improvements and new product introductions.
• Support automation and digitalisation projects aligned with Industry 4.0 developments.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Monitor and report process improvement KPIs and project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related challenges to support operational excellence.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechatronics preferred)
