Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is hiring a Production Equipment Technician to support line operations. You will perform setup, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment, ensuring spec compliance and timely troubleshooting. The role requires basic English, 1–2 years in semiconductor maintenance, and the ability to relocate to Batu Kawan.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams, support daily activities, and adapt to shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Basic English reading and writing ability.
• 1–2 years of industrial experience with equipment maintenance in the semiconductor industry.
• Familiar with equipment operation and basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Able to write reports of equipment troubleshooting.
• Basic communication and learning/feedback abilities.
• Able to relocate and work in Batu Kawan.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on in equipment function, setup and conversion for all equipment types.
• Ensure equipment operation and maintenance to achieve equipment availability >90%.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and other groups/sites for daily support.
• Ensure spec compliance and follow OCAP for machine troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support/solutions to resolve equipment and hardware issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration (CAL) of production equipment.
• Maintain production line equipment on shift to meet planned KPI goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility/adaptability to frequent changes.

• Work closely with production, engineering, and other groups and sites to provide effective solutions and support for daily production activities.
• Ensure spec compliance and follow OCAP for machine troubleshooting.
• Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability to frequent changes.
• Able to work in a rotational shift work as and when needed.
• Good time planning to complete the task on time
• Provide technical support/solutions to resolve equipment and hardware-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) / calibration (CAL) of production equipment.
• Familiar with equipment operation and know basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Basic communication skills and good learning and feedback ability.
• Production line equipment maintenance on shift to meet the planned KPIs goal

Job Requirements:

• Education: Diploma and major in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, and related.
• Language: Basic English reading and writing ability
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in industrial experience with at least equipment maintenance experience in the Semicon Industry.
• Familiar with equipment operation and know basic maintenance of production equipment.
