Job summary

Teleflex Medical Sdn Bhd, located in Kamunting, Kamunting, Perak, Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic molding engineer to lead molding operations and drive process excellence in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will oversee molding process optimization, provide technical leadership for mold and machine issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize molding processes to meet quality, productivity, and efficiency targets.
• Provide technical leadership and rapid troubleshooting for process, mold, machine, and material issues.
• Drive reductions in downtime, scrap, defects, and process variation through data-driven improvements.
• Lead SPC monitoring, RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities.
• Support and execute ES, OQ, and PQ studies.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and manufacturing transfer.
• Coach and develop molding technicians to strengthen technical competency.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and manufacturing excellence.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and manufacturing excellence.
