Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Malaysia seeks an engineer to provide technical and sustaining support for PCBA, TLA and HLA assembly processes. The role involves establishing equipment specifications, improving production yields, and coordinating with design teams to ensure compatible designs and processes.

The successful candidate will develop manufacturing methods and estimate costs, while maintaining records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electronics or Electrical Automation required.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in High Level Assembly (HLA) processes.
• Proficiency in software and programming.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and sustaining engineering support of PCBA, TLA and HLA assembly processes.
• Establishes operating equipment specifications and improves manufacturing techniques and production yields.
• Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure processes and designs are compatible.
• Develops and maintains methods, operation sequences and processes for manufacture of parts and assemblies.

Establishes operating equipment specifications, improves manufacturing techniques and production yielas, and introduces new process equipment to improve production efficiencies. 3. Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible. 4. Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. 5. Interiaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. 6. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. 7. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. 3.
