Job summary

Halton Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya, Malaysia is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to drive efficiency, quality and productivity across manufacturing operations. You will support the Industry 4.0 journey, collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Digitalisation and Operations teams.

The role requires Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, a degree in engineering (Mechatronics or related), and at least two years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechatronics or related discipline).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
• Develop and implement process optimisation strategies across manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, R&D, Digitalisation, and Operations teams on process improvements and new product introductions.
• Support automation and digitalisation projects aligned with Industry 4.0 developments.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Monitor and report process improvement KPIs and project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related challenges to support operational excellence.
