Job summary

Excel Rim Sdn Bhd is a Malaysia-based manufacturer known for off-road motorcycle rims with a legacy dating back to Excel Ltd. in Japan and a setup in 2005 for expanded production.

We seek a Diploma-qualified Mechanical Engineer to create efficient production processes and improve process performance with a focus on tooling and fixtures. The role involves developing 2D/3D models, conducting tooling inspections, and collaborating to implement best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates and experienced candidates welcome.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and tooling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement efficient production processes.
• Analyze process performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Monitor workflows and develop best practices.
• Provide technical support to identify and solve process-related problems in real-time.
• Generate 2D & 3D models for design review and verification on tooling, jig and machine parts.
• Inspect tooling and create tooling inspection reports.
• Develop, revise and maintain controlled documents.
• Carry out engineering tests on testing, reliability, and qualification of process & product.
• Develop new product and process.
• Provide engineering solutions for process improvements.
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior.
