Job summary

San Miguel Yamamura Woven Products Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an engineer to monitor operations, ensure quality and compliance, and propose improvements through metrics and data reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, 2–3 years in manufacturing, ISO 9001:2015 familiarity, and strong English communication. You will support production, analyze downtime, and drive continuous improvement projects while coordinating with all departments.

Qualifications

• Ensure production follows defined processes and methods by engineers.
• Analyse machine downtime and implement corrective measures.
• Improve production efficiency using continuous improvement principles.
• Support current production technical issues and liaise with inter-departments.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring the operations of our systems, including quality and compliance. The candidate should also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data. The candidate should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
