Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in SQL, Python, Linux, robotics programming, and PLC automation.
• Industrial Engineering methods: process flow analysis, simulation, capacity planning, Lean manufacturing.
• Hands-on ML and computer vision in manufacturing and data-driven improvements.
• Strong CAD skills: AutoCAD and SolidWorks for production-line design.
• Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration across levels.

What you’ll achieve:

As a Principal Engineer, you will work with minimal supervision to lead and execute complex technical initiatives focused on manufacturing process improvement, including productivity enhancement, Lean manufacturing, and digitalization projects.

Accountabilities:

• Operate effectively as both an individual contributor and a leader of cross-functional teams to achieve project and organizational objectives.
• Lead Manufacturing Engineering initiatives and drive team efforts to support and achieve company strategic goals.
• Design, develop, and implement digitalization and automation solutions leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies, including Vision Systems, OCR, Universal Robots (UR), AGVs, AMRs, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and PLC programming, in alignment with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring technical excellence, timely execution, and high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, including project financial justification, cost planning, expenditure control, and return-on-investment (ROI) evaluation.
• Drive manufacturing ESD compliance initiatives and maintain accurate ISO documentation to support quality, regulatory, and operational excellence.

Here’s what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in SQL, Python, Linux, robotics programming, and PLC integration/automation, with strong expertise in Industrial Engineering methodologies, including process flow analysis, simulation modeling, capacity planning, and Lean Manufacturing principles with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related degree/experience.
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning (ML) and Computer Vision applications, particularly in manufacturing, automation, and data-driven process improvement environments.
• Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS for the design and optimization of new and existing production lines, with solid expertise in PLC troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system integration.
• Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Experienced in managing project scope, budget, schedules, risks, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans, translate business objectives into actionable initiatives, and drive execution to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Extensive experience in Design of Experiments (DOE), structured problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, validation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
