Job summary

X-FAB in Kuching, Malaysia, seeks an HV device and process development engineer to join our global Process Development team. You will help develop HV devices, define process flows, and run DoE-based experiments in an international environment.

You will also design test structures, perform electrical characterization of HV transistors, and collaborate across departments on process integration and project delivery, while offering technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Physics, Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering or related subjects.
• Experience in development, functionality, manufacturing, characterization and application of semiconductor devices, preferably HV devices.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural international team and meet deadlines.

Job Summary:
X-FAB is looking for a HV device and process development engineer to join our global Process Development team, preferred in Kuching, Malaysia, but working as part of an international organization developing mixed signal high voltage CMOS technologies.

Your Role:

• Development of semiconductor devices, mainly HV devices.
• Definesemiconductor process flows and device architectures.
• Definition, implementation and evaluation of experiments, using Design of Experiments (DoE) methodology.
• Development and design of test structures.
• Electrical characterization of HV transistors.
• Process integration and cooperation with other departments within X-FAB.
• Management of development projects, working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
• Offer technical support to customers.
• TCAD Simulation of devices and processes.
• Cooperation with external partners (e.g. in funded projects).

Your Profle:

• Qualification: Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Physics, Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering or related subjects.
• Preferred: Experience in development, functionality, manufacturing, characterization and application of semiconductor devices, preferably HV devices.
