Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a motivated Problem Management Intern to join our ITSM team on-site in Malaysia. You will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end problem investigations, tracing issues from front-end applications to backend components.

You will learn ITSM practices including incident, problem and change management, with opportunities to engage stakeholders and build governance reporting. A Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/SE or equivalent is preferred, with a minimum 6-month commitment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/SE or equivalent technical field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Willingness to work on-site for the internship duration.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end problem investigations and root cause analysis.
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure issues are resolved.
• Maintain accurate problem tracker documentation throughout investigations.
• Prepare governance reports and metrics for the Problem Management process.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to drive improvements.
