Singtel in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Problem Management Engineer to drive proactive problem management, identify root causes, and improve service stability across our network and technology environment.

You will collaborate with Network Operations, Engineering, and Service Management to investigate complex issues, perform RCA, implement long-term solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven insights.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in Problem Management, NOC, IT Operations, or related role.
• Strong networking fundamentals and understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing and security.
• Familiarity with MPLS IPVPN, Cloud Connect, BGP, OSPF and related protocols.
• Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or similar).
• Certifications like CCNA/CCNP or ITIL are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead problem investigations and contribute to RCA using structured methodologies.
• Detect, log, and manage problems; track major incidents and trends.
• Develop and share knowledge articles; maintain Known Error Database (KEDB).
• Collaborate with Network Ops, Engineering, and Service Management to resolve issues.
• Propose workarounds and permanent fixes to improve service stability.
