The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Solutions Architect, E-House Solutions to lead the development, customization, and delivery of complex modular electrical infrastructure solutions for customers across the Industrial, Energy, Data Center, Mining, Infrastructure, and Utilities sectors.
As the technical authority for E-House opportunities, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into safe, compliant, commercially competitive, and technically robust solutions. Leveraging Schneider Electric's integrated E-House portfolio and reference architectures, you will define and optimize solution designs that balance performance, risk, cost, and delivery feasibility.
Working at the intersection of Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Tendering, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Project Delivery teams, you will play a critical role throughout the project lifecycle, from opportunity qualification and solution development to project handover and execution support.

What Will You Do?
- Solution Architecture Design & Technical Accountability:
- Lead the development of complete E-House solution architectures including:
- E-House Enclosure Structure and Architectural requirements.
- HVAC systems.
- Fire detection and suppression systems.
- Safety Systems & Auxiliary systems.
- E-House Cabling and cabling support System.
- Installation, Integration and Testing of Electrical Switchgear.
- Installation, Integration and Testing of Control, Automation and Telecom Equipment.
- E-House Mechanical Completion, testing and commissioning requirements.
- E-House modularization, logistics and installation requirements.
- E-House Digitization and serviceability
- Build and lead the development of innovating solutions architectures for customers, by understanding the context (including all stakeholders) and their needs, as well as handling the technical complexity induced by the integration of numerous interconnected sub-systems based on Schneider Electric offer portfolio.
- Foster the re-use of proven architectures and technical solutions. Build, promote and adapt reference architectures to meet specific customer needs. Provide blueprints for the Tender and Project Managers to plan the project and estimate cost & effort.
- Assess and commit on the technical feasibility of the proposed systems & architectures, prior to issuing the offer to the customer; can take part of SOCs (Solution Opportunity Committees).

- Visit customers with the Salesforce (or alone upon request). Present and defend technical proposals and solutions. Develop required technical and commercial argumentation documents.
- Promote Unique Value Propositions to influence customers/consultants with Schneider Electric Solutions. To do so, bring-up differentiating architectures, address business requirements, customer process constraints and technical challenges, to propose optimized and cost-effective solutions.
- Provide answers to complex technical questions from customers, in co-operation with technical experts from specific domains or from R&D.
- Can perform technical influencing and specifying activities at early stages of business development & opportunity identification and can take part of external technical events.
Technical coordination of Opportunity stakeholders:

- Work in close collaboration with Salesforce, Business Development & other technical designers and engineers who take care of part of the technical scope of the tender;
- Identifies whether specific technical expertise is needed and coordinate the expertise actions if any;
- Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of the sub-contracted parts during the tendering process, in strong coordination with procurement team;
- Act as a single point of contact for all tender stakeholders regarding the architecture and technical content of the opportunity; ensure technical coordination among the tendering team.
Risk & Opportunity management, Change management, Alert:
- Risk & Opportunity management, Change management, Alert:
- Perform gap analysis and lean scoping between customer needs and reference architectures, then adapt those architectures/scope to fulfil the customer's key decision criteria (functions, performance, budget ...).
- Support the Sales and Tendering teams, from technical perspective, during the whole selling process to reduce/mitigate technical risks linked to the solution proposal and its future execution.
Community of practices & Coaching:
- Community of practices & Coaching:
- As architectures' Subject Matter Expert (SME), support both Selling and Execution teams on critical architecture related issues.
- Take an active part of on the improvement of Schneider Electric components & systems integrated in Solutions: identify, formalize, and argument the missing features that should be taken into account by R&D departments in their offer roadmaps to build better Solutions.
- Strongly contribute to the technical Community of Practice of Power Systems Division, and globally within Schneider Electric network.
- Proactively develop and maintain a strong technical network among other Tendering or Systems/Products Application Engineers and Experts (SAEs, PAEs, …): identify, formalize, share and promote lessons learned and best practices.
- Act as role model and/or coach of juniors.
What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer, Certified Solution and systems Architect or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Min 10+ years of experience in leading full technical scope of large international multi-techno projects.
- Min 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, engineering leadership, or technical management roles.
- Proven deep technical expertise & experience in integrated modular electrical and mechanical solutions, electrical substation, including standards & legislation knowledge. Familiarity with Industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, UL, NFPA, NEMA).
- International experience with strong background in EPC, industrial, energy, mining, oil & gas, utilities, or data center sectors
- Strong Exposure and/or Knowledge in key E-House Design requirements:
- Modular building design, Structural integration, HVAC systems, Fire & gas systems, Building services integration, Transportation and installation constraints and Safety Considerations.
- Strong Exposure and/or Knowledge in key Electrical, Control, Automation and Telecom Equipment and Systems:
- Key Electrical and Mechanical characteristics of said equipment and systems, Installation, Integration of said equipment and systems, wiring and cabling aspects of said equipment and systems and testing and commissioning of said equipment and systems.
- Familiarity and/or exposure with International, Industry and Local codes and standards (IBC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ASHRAE, UL, Utility and grid requirements, etc.)
- Familiarity (Knowledge is a plus) with some Key Specialized Digital and Software Tools for E-House Design and Solution Architecture (Drafting/Drawing Systems / Electrical Design tools / Mechanical Design tools / ETAP / AVEVA / Structural Systems, etc.)
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills, effective in a cross-cultural environment to foster collaboration toward a common goal. Good Communicator.
- Strategic thinking with an innovation mindset.
- Customer-centric mindset with a commercial acumen
- Ability to understand and apply industry/market knowledge (macro drivers, significant trends, strategic direction) in client communication and dialog.
