Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Malaysia seeks a Principal Engineer Process Integration to lead the technology integration strategy across the manufacturing flow and to optimize critical integration schemes for improved yield, quality, and efficiency. You will act as a senior technical authority, solving high-impact production challenges and guiding cross-functional teams through TT, NPI, and ramp-up activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related semiconductor fields.
10-15 years of experience in wafer fabrication, process integration or related manufacturing environments.
Strong track record in leading complex technical problem solving in high-volume manufacturing.
Experience with TT, NPI, process qualification, and ramp-up activities.

Responsibilities

Own and lead technology process integration strategy across the manufacturing flow.
Define and optimize critical process integration schemes to achieve performance, quality, reliability, and cost objectives.
Drive process stability, manufacturability, yield enhancement, and long-term sustainability.
Act as a senior technical authority for complex integration-related issues and manufacturing challenges.
Lead resolution of high-impact technical issues affecting yield, reliability, cycle time, quality, and commitments.
Lead strategic and critical improvement projects with significant impact on performance and business outcomes.
Drive TT, NPI, and process qualification activities for successful implementation and ramp-up.
Partner with process, equipment, quality, reliability, planning, and operations teams for major initiatives.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and reliability.
Foster sustainable fab stability and operational excellence through cross-department alignment.
Develop strategies to improve yield, productivity, cycle time, and equipment utilization.
Champion continuous improvement culture through problem-solving and innovation.
Coach and mentor engineers toward subject matter expertise and leadership roles.
Build technical competency through knowledge sharing and training.
