ON Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Staff Engineer in the Power Solutions Group (PSG) to drive cost and quality initiatives across the organization.

You will execute PSG’s strategies in partnership with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Technology Development teams. You will analyze high-volume data, develop cost and quality strategies for front-end and back-end operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost structures, supply-chain performance,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Eight to ten years of experience in semiconductor business operations and/or hands-on semiconductor manufacturing, including wafer fabrication, assembly, and/or test.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quality, test engineering, or product engineering is highly preferred.
• Experience in new product development (NPD) and release to market (RTM) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate concise findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Analyze high-volume data to identify opportunities to improve product cost structures and quality.
• Use multiple tools and systems to identify cost-saving opportunities and supply-chain improvements.
• Collaborate across teams to implement PSG business priorities.
• Work with global, cross-functional teams to address customer quality issues, returns (RMA), and cost, while driving continuous improvements that reduce customer return rates.
