Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Strong experience with Malaysian National curriculum and Cambridge International Education.
• Proven track record in academic improvement, boarding management, enrolment growth, and staff development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams in a multicultural environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to navigate complex parent expectations and regulatory frameworks.
• High digital literacy and demonstrated leadership in EdTech implementation, preferably within Microsoft Showcase School environment.
• Understanding of Malaysian regulatory requirements and the local school landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead Malaysian National curriculum and Cambridge programmes, ensuring curriculum coherence and progression.
• Oversee teaching, learning, assessment, moderation, and targeted interventions.
• Drive SPM, Cambridge checkpoints and IGCSE outcomes and post-16 progression.
• Ensure 5Cs integration across curriculum and assessment.
• Lead pastoral care, behaviour management, and student support systems.
• Promote student wellbeing, resilience, leadership, and character development.
• Ensure safeguarding compliance and readiness for audits.
• Build trust-based partnerships with parents and guardians.
• Lead parent engagement platforms, briefings, and community events.
• Strengthen school visibility and reputation.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teaching and support staff.
• Implement performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
• Develop leadership capacity in middle and senior teams.
• Oversee daily operations, logistics, facilities, maintenance, and boarding operations.
• Ensure campus safety, cleanliness, and readiness for learning and residential life.
• Maintain robust policies, documentation, and compliance.
• Drive EdTech integration and innovation.
• Enhance school brand and strategic positioning.
