Job summary

Infineon Technologies Melaka invites a Principal Engineer to join the Product & Test Engineering team, shaping test strategies for high voltage gate drivers and IPMs, and developing advanced test methods and software for automated equipment.

You will lead test development on Eagle ETS-88/ETS-364, Advantest V93K, AccoTest STS8200, collaborate with design and production teams, and transfer test packages to Europe and Asia with up to 10% travel. Fluent English required; German language is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering or comparable.
5 years of experience in high voltage Gate Driver IC or IPM / 2+ years for WBG test development.
Expertise with mixed-signal power test equipment and C/C++ programming.
Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit knowledge and test code debugging.
Experience testing GaN or SiC power devices is a plus.
Fluent English; willingness to learn German is a plus.
Willingness to work in Melaka and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative test methods including DFT and optimize test software for ATE.
Design product-specific test hardware for Front End wafer and Back End final test.
Analyze, debug, and characterize new products on the test system.
Create solutions for high parallel testing and faster test times.
Transfer test packages to production sites in Europe and Asia; travel up to 10%.
Ensure timely transfer of engineering and production test packages.
Collaborate closely with concept, design, verification, and production engineers.
