Job summary

Bybit Limited seeks a middleware operations engineer to deploy, operate and maintain middleware across our cloud environments. You will manage ZooKeeper, etcd, Nacos, Kafka, and containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.

The role involves daily cloud resource management on AWS and Tencent Cloud, collaboration with R&D for upgrades and configuration, and creating automation scripts and runbooks to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; 3+ years in middleware or Linux operations.
• Proficient in Linux OS and troubleshooting of common system/network issues.
• Familiar with AWS and Tencent Cloud in basic operations.
• Hands-on production operations with ZooKeeper, etcd, Nacos, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, maintain, upgrade middleware to ensure high availability.
• Install, configure, monitor, tune performance, and troubleshoot middleware (ZooKeeper, etcd, Nacos, Kafka).
• Manage public cloud resources (AWS, Tencent Cloud) for middleware operations.
• Collaborate with R&D to set up middleware, manage version upgrades, configurations, and provide production support.
• Write runbooks, SOPs, and automation scripts to improve efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the deployment, operation, maintenance, upgrades, and daily management of the company's middleware systems, ensuring stable and highly available operation.
• Responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of mainstream middleware including ZooKeeper, etcd, Nacos, and Kafka.
• Responsible for daily operations and resource management of public cloud environments such as AWS and Tencent Cloud.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to complete middleware environment setup, version upgrades, configuration management, and production environment support.
• Write operations documentation, standard operating procedures, and automation scripts to continuously improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in middleware or Linux operations.
• Proficient in Linux operating systems, with the ability to troubleshoot common system and network issues.
• Familiar with the basic operations of mainstream cloud platforms such as AWS and Tencent Cloud.
• Familiar with mainstream middleware including ZooKeeper, etcd, Nacos, and Kafka, with production environment operations experience.
• Familiar with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, with hands‑on experience in day‑to‑day K8s cluster operations.
• Proficient in Shell scripting, with foundational development skills in Go or Python, capable of writing automated operations tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for fault diagnosis and issue localization, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, a strong sense of responsibility, and a service‑oriented mindset.
