A Primary School Principal plays a crucial role in the overall administration and leadership of a primary school. This position involves overseeing the educational and operational aspects of the school, creating a positive learning environment, and ensuring the academic success and well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
Educational Leadership:
Provide visionary leadership in the development and implementation of educational programs.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes academic excellence and student success.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a dynamic and engaging curriculum that meets educational standards.
Student Welfare:
Ensure the safety and well-being of students within the school premises.
Implement and enforce school policies that promote a positive and respectful learning environment.
Address and resolve disciplinary issues effectively and in accordance with school policies.
Staff Management:
Recruit, hire, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff.
Provide professional development opportunities for teachers and staff to enhance their skills.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment among school staff.
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about school activities, policies, and student progress.
Organize and participate in community events and activities.
Administrative Oversight:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including budgeting, resource allocation, and facilities maintenance.
Ensure compliance with education regulations and policies.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the continuous improvement of the school.

Ensure compliance with standardized testing requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, School Management, or a related field.
Teaching qualification recognized by the relevant education authority.
Professional certifications in educational leadership or school administration are an advantage.
Minimum 5-10 years of teaching & leadership experience in an international school setting.
Familiarity with educational policies, safeguarding requirements, and school compliance standards.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
