Job summary

International Schools Partnership Limited seeks an Assistant Head of Primary to lead and embed an effective assessment, tracking, intervention, and feedback system across the primary school, ensuring outstanding progress for all students. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of teaching in a primary school with proven leadership or middle-management responsibilities.
• Experience supporting the Head of Primary in day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
• Strong background in curriculum leadership across British, IPC, IB PYP or international curricula.
• Experience in safeguarding, wellbeing initiatives and working with parents and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability in assessment, data analysis and school improvement planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic vision for learning and teaching across the primary school with high-impact outcomes.
• Implement and oversee a Learning Visits programme and a collaborative professional learning culture.
• Provide professional development aligned to Learning Visits and school evaluation processes.
• Develop middle and senior leaders to lead learning, observe lessons, and deliver feedback.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching quality with clear feedback and actionable support.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to ensure evidence-based teaching approaches.
• Maintain transparent communication with staff to promote accountability for student outcomes.
