Job summary

International Modern Arabic School (KL) seeks an experienced curriculum leader to guide the implementation of the school’s curriculum and work with Heads of Department to coordinate planning. You will support teachers with lesson planning, observe teaching, mentor staff, and ensure accurate assessments and records while maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Education and at least five years of international school teaching experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (required).
• Candidates must possess at least 5 years' teaching experience in International School setting.
• Previous experience in a leadership, coordinator, or team lead role within a school environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the school curriculum.
• Support teachers with lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student engagement.
• Monitor teaching quality through classroom observations and provide coaching where needed.
• Ensure assessments are effective and used to support student learning.
• Lead assessment moderation to ensure consistency in marking and reporting.
• Monitor students' wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, and academic progress.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and wellbeing.
• Assist with the onboarding and development of new teachers.
• Identify professional development needs and support continuous improvement.
• Work with Heads of Department and specialist teachers to coordinate curriculum planning.
• Monitor student progress and coordinate intervention strategies where necessary.
• Ensure assessments, reports, and student records are completed accurately and on time.
• Support parent-teacher conferences and reporting processes.
• Ensure school policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Coordinate classroom resource and maintenance needs with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, timetables, and duty rosters
