Job summary

Cherie Hearts International Preschool is seeking a passionate Subject Teacher to deliver developmentally appropriate activities for infants in a warm, nurturing preschool setting.

You will plan routines, use songs and sensory play, and support early communication and motor skills while maintaining a safe classroom and collaborating with staff.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience working with infants or young toddlers.
• Proficient in English communication is an advantage.
• Passionate about nurturing and caring for infants.
• Gentle, patient, and attentive personality.
• Understanding of infant development and age-appropriate caregiving practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily routines and age-appropriate activities tailored for children aged 2 - 6 years old.
• Use songs, sensory play, simple stories, and guided interactions to support children's development.
• Support children's early communication, motor skills, emotional regulation, and bonding experiences.
• Prepare safe, stimulating learning materials and sensory-rich environments.
• Observe and document each child’s developmental milestones and adjust care and activities accordingly.
• Ensure a safe, hygienic, and organized classroom environment that promotes children's well-being.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support overall centre operations and events.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Subject Teacher to join our preschool team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for infants, helping them build a strong foundation in sensory, motor, language, and social-emotional development. Observe and document each child’s developmental milestones and adjust care and activities accordingly.
