Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a passionate Playschool Teacher for Keedsflix Playschool Sri Rampai to join our team. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young children and foster a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment where children learn through play and exploration.

The role involves delivering age-appropriate activities, preparing daily lesson plans and materials, supporting children's development, and communicating with parents.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) / KAP, or relevant certificates.
• Experience working with preschool/young children is an advantage.
• Passionate about early childhood education.
• Patient, caring, responsible and enthusiastic.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and energetic, with the ability to make learning fun.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong discipline, punctual and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct age-appropriate learning and play-based activities for children based on modules provided.
• Create a fun, safe and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development.
• Prepare daily lesson plans, learning materials and classroom activities.
• Encourage children's creativity, curiosity and independence.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming classroom.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's development and daily activities.
• Monitor children's progress and provide appropriate support according to their individual needs.
• Participate in school events, activities and enrichment programmes.
• Work closely with other teachers and the management team.
