Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Optical Manufacturing Operator to support edging, fitting and inspection of lenses and frames. You will operate precision equipment and follow safety and quality protocols.

The role requires about 3 years of experience in optical manufacturing or retail optics, ability to perform Cut, Edge and Fit tasks independently, and to collaborate with the team to meet agreed results.

Qualifications

• 3 years working experience in optical manufacturing or production environment.
• 3 years working experience in retail optics, with the ability to perform Cut, Edge & Fitt tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform fitting operations on optical lenses and frames (full frame, Rimlon & Rimless).
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications, including optical clarity and precision fitting.
• Conduct regular inspections of lenses and frames during and after the edging & fitting process.
• Operate machines and equipment supporting CEF production such as Tracer, Blocker, manual drilling machine, manual Groover, lensmeter & thickness gauges.
• Maintains production machines and equipment, preventive maintenance of necessary machines.
