Job summary

Mehow is seeking a Quality Inspector in Penang to support metrology and quality control for medical device production. You will verify dimensional data, read drawings, and participate in CPk data collection with first article inspection and rework coordination.

The role requires a Diploma in a related engineering field and at least 1 year of measurement experience, with hands-on use of CMMs and gauges. On-site work in Malaysia’s Penang region is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of metrology or quality inspection experience.
• Hands-on experience operating measurement equipment.
• Familiar with Hexagon CMM, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodically product measurement and verification process based on established inspection standard and sampling plan.
• Carry-out dimensional verification on first article product and completed measured product shall be retained for future references.
• Participate in mould evaluation activity to obtain the product full dimensional and CpK data.
• Record inspection and verification data in product measurement checklist in timely manner.
• Feedback to QE, Production Supervisor/Line Leader when there is a detection of non-conforming on part dimensional data.
• Generate rework order request to Production to carry out necessary action and carry-out re-inspection process after Rework and Sorting process completed.
• Any other assigned task from superior level
