Job summary

Ascentec Engineering Malaysia seeks a QC inspector to conduct dimensional measurement and quality inspection on in-process, finished, and assembled parts in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will use precision gauges and interpret drawings per ASME Y14.5M, report non-conformances, and ensure timely release of parts to avoid line downtime.

The role also involves maintaining inspection records, complying with FAIR requirements, and training new inspectors in inspection methods and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process, finished, assembled parts and FA parts per drawings and checklists.
• Review and interpret drawings (ASME Y14.5M) and customer cosmetic specs.
• Review non-conformances and issue Non-Conformance Reports with findings.
• Ensure parts pass inspection and release to avoid line downtime.
• Maintain QC inspection reports and checklists.
• Train new inspectors in inspection methods and equipment.
