Job summary

SSGE Bio Energy (M) Sdn Bhd in Langkap, Perak, is seeking a skilled machinist to operate CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture and repair metal components.

You will read technical drawings, set up machines, perform cutting, drilling, turning, and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy. You will also carry out routine machine checks and maintain a tidy, safe workshop.

Qualifications

• Minimum of secondary school education or relevant technical qualification.
• Previous experience operating machining equipment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes, measuring instruments, and workshop tools.
• Able to read technical drawings and measurements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate machining equipment according to job requirements.
• Perform cutting, drilling, turning, and other machining operations.
• Read technical drawings and follow measurements and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
