Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a production operator to operate assigned production machines according to SOP, set up and monitor equipment, and ensure efficient operation within target parameters.

You will maintain records, perform basic adjustments, report hazards, and help meet daily production targets while minimizing downtime and waste. This role requires adherence to safety rules and trained authorization to operate machinery.

Qualifications

• Follow all safety rules, procedures and PPE requirements incl. wearing PPE.
• Operate machinery only when trained and authorized.
• Maintain awareness of workplace hazards.
• Complete production records, machine checklists and inspections accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production machines according to SOP.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machines during production.
• Ensure machines run efficiently and within required parameters.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting.
• Stop the machine and report abnormalities or unsafe conditions.
• Achieve daily production targets according to the production plan.
• Ensure materials are loaded correctly and available for production.
• Maintain consistent production output while minimizing downtime and wastage.
• Inspect products during production to ensure quality requirements.
• Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming products.
