Job summary

Air Products in Malaysia is seeking a Machine Operator to operate the packing line, shell rolling, shearing, punching, and other production equipment. You will follow manufacturing orders, interpret drawings, and maintain quality and cleanliness throughout the shift.

The role requires basic English, secondary education, and familiarity with automated machinery. You will work with supervisors and quality staff to meet production schedules while adhering to safety and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Secondary schooling or equivalent required.
• Basic English communication preferred.
• Basic computer literacy for CNC/automation operation.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and drawings.
• Knowledge of quality-control and measurement methods.
• Familiarity with PLC/CNC machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Run packing line and other listed machines per orders and drawings.
• Perform inspections and use measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Monitor output to meet delivery dates and quality requirements.
• Report anomalies, tool wear, and safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the work area.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Participate in continuous-improvement and training activities.
• Work with supervisors, quality and maintenance staff as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
