Job summary

Diamatix Resources & Engineering Sdn Bhd in Johor, Malaysia, seeks a skilled Cutting & Welding Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform cutting, welding, fabrication and repair works according to drawings, specifications and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities include reading technical drawings, performing MIG or other welding, inspecting work for dimensions and quality, and maintaining equipment. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in cutting, welding, fabrication or metal works.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and take measurements.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cutting, welding, grinding and fabrication work per drawings and specs.
• Carry out MIG or other welding processes as required.
• Inspect completed work for dimensions, quality and finishing.
• Maintain welding machines, cutting tools and workshop equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and report defects or safety concerns.
