Job summary

Idealseed Resources Sdn Bhd in Kajang, Malaysia is seeking a skilled CNC Turret Punch Operator to set up and operate precision punching processes to manufacture metal components. You will verify finished parts against drawings using Vernier calipers and micrometers, and liaise with Warehouse and Production for smooth material flow.

Maintain safe housekeeping on the shop floor and support training as required, while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years direct working experience operating CNC Turret Punch Machine and in Metal Fabrication Industry.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of engineering specified tolerances.
• Able to read and understand Mechanical Engineering Drawings (blueprints).
• Strong understanding of machine set-up, able to effectively change machinery for multiple set-ups with the various products lines and material requirements.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit to perform all required duties.
• Team player, able to work with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC machine to produce precision parts
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specification using precision instruments (Vernier, Micrometer)
• Responsible for operational activities relating to punching machines
• Liaise with Warehouse and Production to ensure smooth flow of material and component supply
• Improve and sustain housekeeping
• Support in training as and when required
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
