Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in punching/ laser cutting.
• PT3/ SPM equivalent or technical certificate.
• Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawing.
• Verbal communication in clear, concise format.
• Analytical ability to solve punching/ laser cutting issues.
• Good initiatives & self-started with strong team spirit.
• Positive working attitude.
• Willing to learn, meticulous and able to multi-task.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate bending machines with minimal supervision.
• Ensure bending processes meet specifications and safety standards.
• Perform in-process quality inspection and measurements.
• Maintain daily machinery inspection and checklists.
• Coordinate with production supervisor to schedule bending operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings; provide feedback on changes.
• Be accountable for tool handling and safety.
• Assist with new employee guidance when required.
• Highlight defective parts to supervisor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects.
• Maintain shopfloor housekeeping at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Operate CNC Punching & Laser Cutting machines.
• Set up and load raw materials onto machines.
• Ensure cost control for new tool fabrications.
