Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Precision Assembler in Malaysia to prepare assembly work, assemble equipment, and perform testing. The role includes disassembly, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembly during repairs, using modern materials and tools to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities include operating basic equipment, following processes, maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring safety and quality, and communicating courteously with others. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with 1–2 years in mechanical assembly; sand blasting is a plus.
• Good communication/interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with willingness to learn and good work ethics.
• Basic data entry in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Able to work independently and overtime/weekends if needed.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or SPM, 0–2 years experience; mechatronics is a plus.

Precision Assembler

Your Role and Impact

The Precision Assembler will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements. Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating basic equipment and carry out routine tasks.
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
• Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance.
• Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
• Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
• Exchange information with people by having courteous interactions with them.
