Job summary

Eastern Pretech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC Inspector to perform pre- and post-inspection of moulds and panel components at the Johor site. The role includes interpreting structural drawings and ensuring QA records are up to date.

You will liaise with clients/consultants on quality matters, provide feedback to engineers, and handle site investigations. Diploma in Civil Engineering is required; precast experience is a plus. Shift work including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma in Civil Engineering and be able to interpret structural drawings.
• Experience with precast concrete is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre- and post-inspection including mould condition and mould changes.
• Ensure panels have correct IDs and stickers after demoulding.
• Update in the system production checklists and quality records.
• Liaise with client or consultant representatives on quality inspection matters.
• Provide feedback to engineers/managers on quality issues and follow up corrective actions.
• Handle client/customer complaints and site investigations and report outcomes.
• Ensure rectification work follows approved method statements or SOPs.
• Take on any other related duties as assigned.
