Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced QC Engineer for our precast plant in Ulu Choh, Johor. The role focuses on overseeing quality control for precast concrete production, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and project requirements.

The successful candidate will have hands-on site inspection experience in RC works or precast components, with strong knowledge of inspection procedures, NCRs, and coordination with Production, Engineering and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in precast manufacturing or RC construction with hands-on site inspection.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field is required.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs and QC standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC inspection activities to ensure precast components meet specifications.
• Develop and implement QC plans for production and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspection coverage with subcontractors, customers and site teams.
• Investigate quality complaints, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out pre-pour and post-pour inspections and monitor RC works at site.
