Job summary

KOM Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to prepare and monitor schedules that align with project requirements and deadlines. You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.

The role requires 2–3 years in precast/construction or manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Production Planning, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in precast concrete, construction, or manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and preferably planning/scheduling software.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor production schedules based on project requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate production plans with Production, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics, and other departments.
• Monitor production progress and ensure targets are achieved according to schedule.
• Track material, mould, manpower, and equipment requirements.
• Identify potential delays and coordinate corrective actions to maintain the production schedule.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production progress reports.
• Update project schedules and monitor actual progress against planned activities.
• Coordinate with project teams on delivery and production priorities.
• Monitor production capacity and optimize resources to improve efficiency.
• Perform other planning and coordination duties assigned by management.
