Pre-school & Primary level English Teachers

EEC Academy is an English language education centre based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru. We are committed to providing structured, quality English education and maintaining a professional learning environment.

Key responsibilities

Conduct English lessons for children, teenagers and adult learners

Prepare and deliver lessons according to the academy's curriculum and teaching guidelines

Assess students' English proficiency and monitor their academic progress

Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

Complete student progress reports, assessments and required teaching documentation

Follow assigned teaching schedules and the academy's operational policies

Work closely with management and other teachers to maintain teaching quality and student satisfaction

About you

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Relevant academic qualifications or teaching experience

Previous English teaching experience will be an advantage

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Responsible, punctual, professional and able to work as part of a team

Willing to undergo an English proficiency and teaching assessment during the recruitment process

Able to provide relevant academic certificates for verification

Employment Terms & Working Hours

Employment Type: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Lunch Break: 11:55 AM - 12:45 PM

Approximately 5 minutes of break after every 40-minute teaching session

Additional Break: 3:40 PM - 3:50 PM

Salary will be calculated on a pro rata basis according to actual working days and hours, subject to applicable employment laws.

Lateness, early departures and unpaid absences will be calculated proportionately based on actual time not worked.

Emergency leave is subject to management approval and will generally be treated as unpaid leave unless otherwise required by law.
