Job summary

JAC Recruitment in Malaysia seeks a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join the team. You will prepare engineering drawings and calculations, support project execution and troubleshooting, and conduct boiler inspections to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

The role requires 2-3 years of mechanical engineering experience, familiarity with AutoCAD and piping systems, and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of mechanical engineering experience in power plant, EPC, or related environments.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, piping systems, boilers and engineering standards is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Able to work independently and travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Assist with material take-offs, bill of quantities and engineering calculations.
• Conduct boiler and Balance of Plant (BOP) inspections.
• Support project execution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.
