Job summary

Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA) invites applications for the WHR Operator (Boiler Operator Grade 1) to operate and monitor power plant equipment, including boilers, turbines, generators and auxiliaries, ensuring safe, efficient power generation.

You will adjust valves and controls, monitor pressures and temperatures, perform basic maintenance, supervise contractors, enforce SOPs, and support the shift leader during daily operations and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in engineering or science.
• DOSH Grade 1 boiler operator certification.
• AESP certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate boilers, turbines, generators and auxiliaries.
• Adjust valves, switches and controls for optimal performance.
• Track pressure, temperature, voltage and other parameters.
• Perform basic maintenance and lubrication.
• Supervise contractor and operator activities within the plant.
• Enforce SOPs and safety regulations; incident response and reporting.
