Job summary

Starfield Enhance (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Application Software Engineer/Firmware Engineer to design and implement advanced digital control algorithms for high-frequency SMPS power supplies.

You will collaborate with hardware engineers on PFC/LLC converters, develop real-time monitoring software, and verify designs before mass production. Strong C/C++, MCU/DSP (C2000/STM32) and PMBus/UART/CAN/I2C skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Software Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in power supply control or communication software development.
• Sound knowledge of agency approval standards (UL, TUV, CCC etc.)
• Understand power supply topologies, control circuitry, and digital control algorithms.
• Work with MCU/DSP platforms, C2000/STM32 environments, and modular firmware architecture.
• Apply communication protocols such as PMBus, UART, CAN, and I2C in software development.
• Program in C/C++, with scripting experience in Python or C# preferred.
• Follow documentation and coding standards, and manage source control.
• Communicate in English and Mandarin for cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced digital control algorithms for high-frequency SMPS converters.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on PFC/DC-DC converters and perform design verification testing.
• Develop monitoring and communication software for real-time status tracking and diagnostics.
• Support production release with verification and debugging as needed.
