Job summary

Acre Works Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a PT Engineer to coordinate post-tensioning works on LRT/MRT infrastructure projects. The role collaborates with the Construction Manager, PT Manager, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in civil or mechanical engineering, with 1–2 years’ relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome, and AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or related field.
• 1–2 years of construction/project execution experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Willingness to learn construction methods and technical documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor PT works per drawings, specs, and methods.
• Assist planning of PT activities, manpower, equipment, and schedules.
• Review drawings and coordinate shop drawings and submissions.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and technical compliance.
• Maintain PT records, inspection requests, and method statements.
• Monitor material availability, progress, and risks; support testing and handover.
