Job summary

A leading technology company in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a System Validation Engineer to handle post-silicon validation activities. The successful candidate will execute validation plans, ensure hardware and software stability, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. Ideal candidates include fresh graduates or engineers with up to 7 years of experience in system testing or platform debug. Hands-on experience with BIOS and Windows/Linux is required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of modern x86 processor platforms.
• Experience in post-silicon testing or platform debugging.
• Familiarity with regression testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute system-level validation and regression testing.
• Validate system configurations for stability.
• Troubleshoot system and hardware-related failures.

Skills

Understanding of PC architecture

System-level validation experience

BIOS installation experience

Hands-on with Windows/Linux environments

Strong problem-solving skills

Good communication skills in English
