Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia in Muar is seeking a Maintenance team member to support the new technology department. You will assist with equipment PM activities, daily troubleshooting, and process improvements, ensuring spare parts readiness and timely replacements.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and 2–3 years of technical experience, with knowledge of PLC, EE diagrams, and MS Office as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or similar).
• 2–3 years of technical experience.
• MS Office literacy advantageous.
• Knowledge of PLC, EE diagrams and programming.

Responsibilities

• Join the Maintenance team for the new technology department and support equipment PM activities.
• Troubleshoot daily issues and drive improvement projects to optimize uptime.
• Ensure spare parts readiness and replacements on schedule and during urgent needs.
• Support daily production to meet output targets related to equipment, productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and operators on 5S, Gemba and lean activities.

YOUR ROLE

To join as Maintenance team for new and advance technology department. To support team on equipment PM activities schedule and daily troubleshooting and improvement projects. Needed to have hands‑on capability and able to identify technical issue at equipment. Manage the spare parts readiness aneeded by machine which to replace based on schedule and during urgent requirement. Also to support on daily production to meet the output target which related to equipment, productivity and quality. Support engineers to achieve the machines require monitoring data on OEE, MTBI and UPH. Perform others daily activity and work with other technicians, MTS & operators on daily production such as 5S, Gemba & etc.

Your Skills & Experiences

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or similar)
• Min 2-3 years of technical experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office will be an advantage
• Knowledge in other technical aspects (Programing, PLC, EE Diagram)
