Intel Corporation in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to support platform bring-up, validation readiness, and post-silicon activities for Client AI PC SoCs and platforms.

You will perform setup, maintenance, board-level rework, and issue triage while collaborating with multiple engineering teams to ensure high-quality hardware readiness. Hybrid work model in Malaysia offers a balance of on-site lab work and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Fundamental knowledge of SoC platform architectures and hardware setup.
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge for automation is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Perform platform setup and configuration to support validation readiness and testing.
• Execute platform maintenance to keep systems operational and available for engineering use.
• Conduct hardware rework including component replacement and board-level updates as required.
• Support BKC deployments and validation readiness across hardware and software environments.
• Perform platform failure triage, document issues, and escalate to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support readiness, issue tracking, and resolution workflows.
• Manage platform inventory and lab resources to ensure efficient utilization.
• Drive process improvements in platform management and maintenance procedures.
• Operate hardware lab equipment to support bring-up, validation readiness, and issue investigation.
