Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a Client/Graphics Platform validation engineer in Penang to validate platforms for AMD clients and graphics products. You will work with cross-functional teams globally to triage and debug issues and drive validation milestones.

The role requires strong communication, independence and teamwork, with hands-on experience in PC hardware, BIOS, drivers, and OS. A Bachelor’s degree in EE or CS is expected and AMD offers hybrid work arrangements in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE or CS is required.
• 4+ years hands-on PC/graphics hardware and test experience.
• Knowledge of BIOS, drivers and OS basics.
• Experience validating hardware; strong debugging across teams.
• Graphics experience is a plus; AI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute post-silicon validation for Ryzen/Radeon platforms.
• Create test procedures and generate technical documents.
• Track validation status and report results.
